Ocean Glow Car Detailing
Effective: 1 July 2025

Introduction

  • By booking a service with Ocean Glow Car Detailing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

Service Agreement

  • Services are carried out based on the package selected at the time of booking. Each package clearly outlines what is included.
  • Any additional work outside the agreed package may incur extra charges, which will be discussed with you before proceeding.
  • While we always aim to deliver the highest possible standard of work, results may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.

Customer Responsibilities

  • All personal belongings must be removed from the vehicle prior to your appointment. Ocean Glow Car Detailing takes no responsibility for lost or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle.
  • Vehicles with excessive pet hair, sand, mould, stains, or other extreme conditions will incur additional charges due to the extra time and labour involved.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any pre-existing damage or concerns before work begins.

Pricing & Payment

  • All quotes are valid for 7 days and are subject to change depending on the vehicle’s condition. Final pricing will be confirmed on-site before any work is carried out.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include: cash, Eftpos (Tap & Go), and bank transfer.
  • Receipts can be issued on request.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to bookings.
  • Customers who reschedule their booking will be required to pay a deposit of $50 to confirm the new time.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if the booking is later cancelled or if the job cannot be completed for any reason.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation or call-out fee.
  • If we arrive on-site and are unable to carry out the job due to locked vehicles, unsafe conditions, incorrect address, or any other avoidable issue, a minimum $80 call-out fee may apply.

Liability & Damages

  • While every care is taken when servicing your vehicle, Ocean Glow Car Detailing is not liable for any pre-existing damage.
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by aftermarket modifications, fragile trims, deteriorated surfaces, or poor prior repairs.
  • Customers acknowledge that detailing services involve working on aging or worn materials, and in rare cases, issues may arise due to pre-existing weaknesses.

Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • Ocean Glow Car Detailing reserves the right to postpone or reschedule bookings due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • If weather conditions are likely to compromise quality, we’ll contact you to reschedule at the earliest suitable time.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you’re not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours. We’ll assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer to return and rectify it.
  • Refunds are not provided for change-of-mind or when expectations were not clearly communicated before the service.
